Ex-Momentum Singapore boss Daniel Ng launches shopper marketing agency Day 28

A shopper marketing agency has launched in Singapore.

Called Day 28, the founder is the former country head of Momentum Singapore Daniel Ng, who assumes the role of managing director.

The launch is the third agency Ng has started. He birthed ACTION! Advertising in 2009, which closed in July 2011, and Ming Advertising in 2003, which was absorbed by Boom Marketing three years later.

Ng starts up Day 28 after just over a year at Orbital Group, where he was shopper marketing director. In his career, he has also worked at Momentum Worldwide and OgilvyAction. Day 28

The new agency takes its name from the 28th day of the month, the most common time when companies pay their staff, and therefore a popular time for people to go shopping, it is explained on the company website.

Ng told Mumbrella about his ambitions for the agency’s first year: “For the year 2014, we are hoping to work with clients from a few industries like FMCG, consumer electronics and automotive. ”

“Talent is important too. We are hoping to reach out and attract talents that not only have the skills, but also the attitude we seek-  curious, relentless and positive,” he said.

Day 28’s services include brand identity, activation, retail marketing and research.
