Riverorchid acquires stake in Vietnam digital agency Notch

Riverorchid NotchIndochina specialist agency network Riverorchid has acquired a stake in Vietnamese digital agency Notch.

The merged entity will be named Riverorchid Notch and form part of Riverorchid’s digital offering.

Headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, Riverorchid Notch can claim to be the largest digital offering in Indochina that has offices in all five markets – Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos and Thailand.

The combined company has 40 staff and a client list including Arsenal FC, Citimart, L’Oreal, Nokia, Samsung, Techombank, Unilever and Vinaphone.

Tarun Dhawan, managing director of Notch, said: “In combining the strengths of Notch’s significant presence and client base in Vietnam, and Riverorchid Digital’s existing operations not just in Vietnam but also across Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos and Thailand, we are aiming to build Indochina’s premier specialist digital network – embedded within Indochina’s premier specialist communications network: Riverorchid.”

Shea O’Neill, group head of digital for Riverorchid, added: “We’ve always had great respect for Notch and the combination of their scale in Vietnam and our own rapidly growing activities in all five countries of Indochina, feels like a marriage made in heaven.”
